The first day of a brand-new year is always a cause to celebrate… at The Queen’s Head, we’re very much looking forward to the fresh start and are delighted to be open and ready to serve you from day 1 of 2022 – join us for a tasty New Year’s Day lunch to celebrate with friends and family.
There’s a fair chance you will be feeling a little delicate come the morning of New Year’s Day… and what could be more comforting than knowing you’ve got a hearty roast dinner coming for your lunch? No one can doubt the simple, nourishing powers of Yorkies and gravy, and we promise the roasted meat and fresh veg will do aching heads and limbs the world of good!
Roasts will be served from 12pm, so even if you steered clear of the NYE alcohol, there’s plenty of time available for that much-needed lie in, but we’ll be ready simply whenever you are – you can join us throughout the afternoon until 6pm.
If a roast just isn’t your bag, or you’re just waiting until Sunday, choose one of the dishes on our pub classics menu instead; maybe ham, egg and chips or a spicy bean burger is just what you need to start the year. Food will be served 12 – 6pm, and whatever option you choose, you can also enjoy a selection of teas and coffees alongside our full offering at the bar.
