We’re always delighted to get involved with community events and support our locals however and whenever we can – and we’re excited for the upcoming festivities taking place across our village to celebrating the upcoming Jubilee weekend on Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June.
On Saturday 4th, our locals will be celebrating across the village with the West Bergholt Jubilee Festival activities from 12pm – 8:30pm, with plenty of excitement for all ages, including a U16s fun run, sporty taster sessions, cooking demonstrations, funfair, fête stalls, music and more. To support the festival, we’re putting together some perfect picnic boxes full of tasty treats to delight even the most royal appetite, to be enjoyed out in the West Bergholt sunshine – what represents British days out more than a picnic?
Our picnic boxes cost just £10 each and contain a choice of sandwiches, Scotch egg, sausage roll, slice of Victoria sponge, chocolate brownie and fruit scone with clotted cream and jam. A vegetarian option will also be available.
Picnic boxes are available on both Saturday and Sunday and must be pre-ordered no later than 3pm on Friday 3rd June – either give us a ring on 01206 240 394 or come and see us in the pub to secure yours – and will be available to collect on the day itself from 11am. Simply pop in to pick up your boxes before heading out into the sunshine.
